FINAL FILM MAGAZINE

Above is my final magazine, I think this is definately ALOT better than my other one, I took aspects of my other one into this design of what I liked and changed other parts to improve it. The colours fit in really well, and are similar to the colours of the picture behind and also enhance the colours in the picture, especially the yellows which bring out the face. Also the browns in the text boxes bring out the the colours even more, which makes this a successful magazine as the colours compliment each each and continue the thriller theme as it sets an errie tone and makes the colours more bold throughout the magazine cover including the puff's.There is also a range of colours throughout the front cover, including the sandy ground texture behind the woman. The barcode is in the bottom right hand corner and is equally sized and positioned. I have also made a logo at the bottom right hand corner to show advertising and an aspect of my other magazine. Also in the bottom left hand corner is a '+' to show what else is going on and represent a 'plus' sign. I really love my final front cover for my film magazine as the puff's are well structured and laid out, also the alternate text in yellow boldens the white font aswell. I have added more italics in the text to make them stand out more and to vary the text more. The colour of the picture in the background has worked really well and looks really good photoshopped especially with the claw in the background as it makes you question what it is or if it is just her going insane. The masthead with the black strip behind it represents division in the way in which she is cut off the world as she is not accepted socially. This issue itself has alot of content and has alot of 'Exclusive' and interviews as i tried to use the typical vocabulary a magazine would use to entice people to reading and buying the magazine. The price is located above the barcode as a normal film magzine would be. I think this is definately my favourite out of all the magazine covers I've done, I'm very proud of it as it really does look like a film magazine and is a good advertisement for my trailer and the poster.
